What web browsers do you support?

Although you can use almost any browser to view GrantStation, we strongly recommend:

With these versions of Firefox, Internet Explorer and Safari, not only will you see GrantStation as it is intended to be seen, but when you print a page, all of the links will print out as full URLs, a useful timesaver.

Why can't I view any articles or search results?

  • Using older versions of the above browsers will result in display issues while viewing search results and articles on GrantStation. If you are currently having problems viewing pages, update your browser to the most recent version. This will not only allow you to view GrantStation correctly, but will also provide greater security while you are using the Internet.

When I try to print something, it is too small to read. Where is the "Print Version" button you used to have?

  • We are adding a bit of code to each page that allows you to print the content at a larger font size, without the side navigation, and with the URLs in text form (as opposed to blue underlined links) by simply choosing to print. You no longer need to use the "Print Version".
  • If you run into a page that does not print as described above, please contact our technical support staff, and include the URL of the page.

How do I save my searches?

We have written up a 5-step process for saving your search results:

  1. Go to the upper left corner of your browser and click "File"
  2. Select the option "Save Page As..." to save the page to your desktop.
  3. You will now see a pop-up screen that will give you the option for the file name. Give the file a name that you will remember when you are looking for it later.
  4. Choose "Web Page, complete" to save the web page and all of its graphics and links that go along with it. If you only want the code for the page, choose either "Web Page, HTML only" or "Text Files"
  5. Click "Save" in the lower right corner.

Once you have done this, you will have a copy of the web page showing your GrantStation search results, with links, on your hard drive!

GrantStation Insider or GrantStation International Insider Questions

Why am I not receiving the GrantStation Insider or GrantStation International Insider?

  • It is possible your email program or provider is blocking the Insider. To make sure your program isn't blocking the e-newsletter, go to your junk email box and check your spam filters.
  • All email programs are different, but most email services with spam or junk mail folders offer users a simple method to designate which email addresses are safe and should come to the user's main email folder.
  • Both e-newsletters are sent from the system@grantstationinsider.com address. Adding this address to your email program's list of acceptable senders or to your address book should remedy the problem.

Why can't I see anything in the email you sent me?

  • Make sure that your email program is set to allow you to view HTML mailings and/or images and links.
  • There is a good chance that system@grantstationinsider.com may be marked as spam by you, your email program OR your email system. You will need to set system@grantstationinisder.com to allowable or on a safe list of senders so you can see the weekly e-newsletter.

How do I stop receiving emails from GrantStation? How do I change the email that the Insider is sent to?

  • At the bottom of your newsletter, there is a link that says:

    To unsubscribe from this list or to change your profile, please visit this link.

  • Click that link and then follow the instructions to unsubscribe or change your email.
