Making Connections

The Grant Writing Overview
Become More Effective at Grant Writing

This course will provide an overview of the world of grants for beginning and moderately-experienced grant writers. Novice participants will gain a wealth of information about the grant writing process and those with more experience will review and update their grant writing skills. (While this course is not intended to replace a hands-on grant writing intensive for beginners, it will familiarize them with grant writing terms and concepts, and start them out with good grant writing habits.)

ENROLL TODAY

During the webinar series, participants will learn the best places to find the type of grants they are seeking, gain tips on how to work more efficiently, review the basics of writing a competitive grant proposal, and briefly discuss how to create an evaluation plan.

The Grant Writing Overview will be delivered in five 90 minute webinar sessions including an open question-and-answer session at the end of the series. Cynthia Adams, CEO of GrantStation, and Sharon Gherman, President/CEO of the Funding Exchange, will moderate this workshop.

Dates: November 1 – November 5 from 2 – 3:30pm EST

Cost:  $499 per participant

Technical Requirements: To participate in a webinar, you’ll need a computer with an Internet connection and access to a telephone (a speakerphone or headset works best because of the long time periods you’ll be connected). Audio for the webinar is received via a toll-free number on your phone, and you’ll be able to ask questions and actively participate throughout the class.
