Tennessee School Boards Association Partners with GrantStation
June 25, 2010 – Tammy Grissom, Ed.D., Executive Director of the Tennessee School Boards Association (TSBA), announced that they will begin delivering the weekly GrantStation Insider e-newsletter to the 900 plus members TSBA serves as of June 21.
Dr. Grissom said, “The mission of TSBA is to assist school boards in effectively governing school districts. Through the years, TSBA has helped school boards and their members reach their highest potential through association programs, meetings, and services. Adding a weekly e-newsletter that provides quality information about upcoming grant deadlines should be very helpful for those we serve.”
Dr. Grissom went on to say that TSBA keeps members informed about the latest trends in education with its publications. “Providing information is a mainstay of the work we do. TSBA currently publishes the Journal, a quarterly magazine and BoardTalk, a monthly newsletter. The GrantStation Insider will provide weekly announcements about upcoming grant deadlines – both government and private funding sources.”
Cynthia Adams, President and CEO of GrantStation, said “We are delighted to have TSBA as a new co-brand e-newsletter partner. The GrantStation Insider Co-Brand Program, which now has over 270,000 weekly readers, will hopefully enhance the already impressive delivery of information provided via TSBA to their membership.” Ms. Adams noted that the program is “easy to implement” and she would like to encourage school boards across the country to follow in the footsteps of TSBA.
