AMECO Partners with GrantStation to Deliver Insider
June 6, 2010 –The Association of Missing and Exploited Children’s Organizations (AMECO) has recently partnered with GrantStation to deliver the weekly GrantStation Insider to their member organizations throughout the U.S. and Canada in order to help provide current grants information to the 38 organizations with whom they work.
According to Wendy Jolley-Kabi, Executive Director of AMECO, each AMECO member organization is an independent nonprofit responsible for raising their own funds for programs and operations. “We believe the GrantStation Insider will be a helpful tool for these agencies as they continue to seek funding for critical services to protect our children.”
“We are very pleased to add AMECO and its member agencies to our distribution list for the weekly GrantStation Insider,” said Cynthia M. Adams, CEO of GrantStation. “We work hard to make sure we are publishing the most current and relevant information for our 260,000 readers. Given the good work they do, adding the AMECO agencies to this list is very rewarding for me and for those who research and write the weekly e-newsletter.”
AMECO is an association of nonprofits assisting in the prevention, recovery and reintegration of missing and exploited children. According to Ms. Jolley-Kabi their member agencies “are nonprofit organizations from throughout the U.S. and Canada that work to provide services to families of missing and exploited children, support law enforcement and other community groups, and offer education/awareness programs to promote child protection. Available services vary with each AMECO member agency.”
