Mohamed bin Zayed Species Conservation Fund
The Mohamed bin Zayed Species Conservation Fund provides grants worldwide for the conservation of any threatened or poorly known animal, plant, or fungus species. The Fund gives priority to species facing a high threat of extinction, as well as those which are listed as data deficient or unlisted but are suspected as highly threatened.
Support is primarily provided for in situ conservation work in the field. Grants of up to $25,000 are made. Anyone directly involved in species conservation can apply. The 2012 application deadlines are February 29, June 30, and October 31.
