Thank you again for the "Best Customer Relations" service. Your professionalism, knowledge of your business, and promptness is altogether refreshing . . . without you [grantseeking] would just be impossible for a one-person company. . .Thank you for your time, efforts, and welcoming. I look forward to building a financially stable three years with your help. God bless you, yours, your staff, your clients, and all of the families involved. Suzette Rodriguez |
Thank you to all the folks at GrantStation for all the hard work you do. I am part of a very small charity, and I pay for the GrantStation Membership out of my own pocket as a donation. We are working hard on getting some grants to expand our programs and finish our building, but as of today, have not received any. However, just for the record, your organization makes it possible for us to even apply for grants. We’re so small, as a single entity under the larger organization, that we don’t have the resources to do all the research into granting organizations. Without GrantStation, we would not be able to even apply. Thanks again. James Garlough |
The services you offer are unsurpassed in comparison to other organizations’ offerings in your arena of expertise. Doreatha Conwell-Waitman |
I can't thank you enough. I'm glad to see that the foundations I asked about are "in process" - and I'm so pleased with your customer service. Your site really is a gold mine in many ways! Thanks. Elizabeth Greville |
As a seasoned fundraiser who has worked successfully in the non-profit world for 30 years, I can say without hesitation that GrantStation is one of the best fundraising tools I have ever discovered or used. I subscribe to a wide variety of funding resources, including the Foundation Directory Online. What I love about GrantStation is that it provides very CURRENT NEWS of the funding world in addition to serving as a good funding database search tool. GrantStation serves to broaden my approach to fund seeking. It helps me be more creative in fundraising because it offers such a spread of information and does so in a comprehensive way that does not force me to waste time. I have been using GrantStation for several years now and, frankly, could not do without it! Jennifer Conroy |
I use your service to find prospective funders who are interested in supporting our overall program, and for the fourteen projects we sponsor in our small, rural community. I teach how to use your 'find-a-funder' search capability to the coordinators of our sponsored projects. I appreciate the simplicity of the search format, the fact that your data is always current, contains only those funding sources that are actually interested in receiving proposals, that small grantmakers are included in my state and local area, and the Author's notes on each grantmaker. I have used a number of searchable data bases, and yours is one of the very best because it gets results. I keep finding grantmakers that I have never heard of before, and I've done about 200-300 searches on other databases over the past year. Thanks for filling a much needed service in our industry. It's no wonder you are growing. Bob Martin |
When we are approached by an organization that needs our help in obtaining grant funds, I use GrantStation to help determine whether federal or private funding is optimal for the organization's needs. Leah Lowe |
| Over the past year our business development program has expanded from one employee working in one office...to having three business development technicians traveling all over. This would not have been possible without the $14,921 grant . . . to purchase 10 laptop computers for our Mobile Classroom.

| We received a $125,000 grant from the Paul G Allen Foundation last spring. This money will allow us to upgrade our audio editing system, creating greater efficiencies for our staff and the network, and improving the quality of services to a state of public radio listeners. The initial research of this project was conducted on GrantStation.

I am writing to thank GrantStation for the fundraising opportunities your service has provided to Friends of Allegheny Wilderness (FAW). We are a relatively new nonprofit organization working to gain additional wilderness protection in the Allegheny National Forest - Pennsylvania's only national forest. As you know, obtaining funding for a new organization such as ours is no easy task. Through GrantStation, which I was fortunate enough to become a member of last summer, I can conveniently link to all current sources of grant money. "The weekly Insider updates, comprehensive website, ease of navigation within the site and other tools have made searching for funders a much easier task. When Congress does pass an Allegheny National Forest wilderness bill, the GrantStation service will be among the first we have to thank for it. I look forward to many years of assistance from GrantStation - you are performing a great and needed function. Kirk Johnson |
I have been using GrantStation for the last year and a half and I have been very satisfied with it. By far it is the best grant resource and funding tool I've ever used. GrantStation's customized searching features and funding alerts have provided a number of funding opportunities for our organization. I highly recommend it for all who are in the fundraising and grants researching fields. Charles Ng |
I'm just emailing to let you know that the Louden Tribal Council received $13,435.00 from the Charlotte Y. Martin Foundation to help with building a softball field for the community. The people of Galena are really active in softball - there are little league teams all the way up to 40 and over. "We found the information on the Charlotte Y. Martin Foundation on your database. We then contacted Ellen (with GrantStation preferred partner, the Funding Exchange) and got tips from her for our proposal. I just wanted to thank you for the information and the Funding Exchange for assistance with our proposal. Cindy Pilot |
GrantStation provides an excellent research source for funding opportunities for local governments and nonprofit agencies. The accessibility of the source and information available online provides traditional and creative funding opportunities for some of our projects. Carol Rushmore |
GrantStation offers timesaving "one stop shopping" for all who seek complete funding information. I love it! Gregory C. Ireland |
The GrantStation newsletter and online database are my preferred resources for grant research. The weekly newsletter and on-line articles always give me new ideas for funding and project possibilities. I find the database to be comprehensive and very easy to use. Being able to choose funders by area of interest has allowed me to spend less time on funder research and more time on project planning and proposal writing. Thank you for a wonderful service! Amber Jusefowytsch |
I think GrantStation is one of the best sources to look for grants and foundation grants. Peter Tuluk |
I've been using GrantStation for two years. You could say I'm part of a "small development shop," but the truth is I'm a one-person development office. I do it all - and I couldn't do it without GrantStation. If I could have only one research tool to get the grants my organization needs . . . it would be GrantStation. GrantStation is by far the best investment any grantseeking professional can make. It's got more information - and that information is more up-to-date and more useful - than directories that cost several times as much! Why buy a book or CD-ROM that's updated annually for a couple thousand dollars, when you can get GrantStation for a third of that . . . including free updates almost daily!? You can pay a lot of money for directories that are unhelpful or even misleading about the geographic interest of funders. GrantStation tells you right up front whether you're wasting your time pursuing a funding source that doesn't include your little corner of the world in its universe. GrantStation technical support is fabulous. Someone always responds quickly to my cries for help. And they're so friendly, too - they make me feel like I'm part of the team. Using GrantStation is the fastest way to do grant research and get high quality results. Because it's online, it saves hours of time...so you can concentrate on writing the proposals instead of on finding where to send them. I adore the GrantStation Insider. GrantStation does the reading for you and distills it all into a compact and timely publication. It never gets stuck on my 'reading pile,' where so many other documents are languishing in oblivion. Patti J. Saunders |
What I find especially useful about GrantStation is that the information is frequently updated and customized for my state. While I use a variety of databases and Internet web directories for funding source research, I always start with GrantStation and generally find that it has the most useful, comprehensive, and current information. It is important to have accurate data on foundation contacts and guidelines. I have been using GrantStation for four years. It is very dependable and extremely easy to use! Chuck Barber, MPA, CFRE |
GrantStation allows me to access foundations and other sources of funding much quicker than the other program I use. It is exceedingly fast and I have found the information on the foundations excellent in description. The featured funders of the day have been on target for me twice. I especially find the "GrantStation Insider" relevant to my work - it is a feature I look forward to every Thursday. GrantStation is an investment that has paid many dividends in its information. I recommend it as the best source of current, up-to-date funder information that is available. I have found GrantStation to be well worth the cost in terms of assisting me in finding sources of money. Keep up the good work. Dick Farris |
It's been only six months since I began using GrantStation and in that short period of time, The Dream Factory Inc., a volunteer-based nonprofit organization, has received almost $30,000 in grants. It was no surprise that the foundations we've received money from deemed us a worthy organization to support; what was surprising was using a resource that made it easier to discover and identify foundations that could help us. There still is so much to do, but GrantStation provides an effective means by which we can access information appropriate for our search. On behalf of the children diagnosed with critical and chronic illnesses that have or will have their dreams come true, thank you for making available this wonderful resource. Barbara H. Franklin |
Just a note to say Thank You! I recently purchased a donated copy of GrantStation.com from Tech Soup. Because we are a very small non-profit we never would have been able to afford your wonderful services without your generous donation. I have been using GrantStation since last week and have already identified several funders of which I was not aware. Thanks again for providing this great opportunity. Jacquie Johnson |
