What is GrantStation?
GrantStation offers online access to a comprehensive set of powerful
grantseeking tools and resources, which makes it quick and easy for
nonprofit organizations, local and state government agencies, and
educational institutions to identify the appropriate grantmaker for
any given program or project. The information on the GrantStation
website is continually updated in order to provide the most current
research available on all types of grantmakers, including federal
agencies, private foundations, and corporate giving programs. GrantStation
resources also include information on state agency grant programs
and international funding sources. In addition to these comprehensive
research tools, GrantStation provides step-by-step tutorials on how
to develop an aggressive grantseeking program, write compelling grant
requests, and manage grant awards.
Why should I join GrantStation?
Securing grant awards is an essential part of a healthy funding strategy
for any organization or agency. Because there are thousands of grants
made every year representing billions of grant awards, sorting through
all of this information to find the right grantmaker can be a tricky
and time-consuming task. Becoming a Member of GrantStation not only
provides you with instant access to grantmaker profiles, but gives
you the ability to identify those grantmakers most likely to fund your
project or program quickly and efficiently. GrantStation provides all
the tools and resources necessary to become a successful grantseeker – all
in one place.
What does Membership include?
In the Find-a-Funder database, Members have access to over 6,000 foundations
and corporate giving programs, religious grantmakers, and other organizations
with grantmaking programs. With over 165 areas of interest, and more
than 30 types of support to choose from, it's easy to do focused research
in minutes. Each grantmaker is pre-screened to confirm that they are
actively accepting proposals from nonprofit organizations and agencies.
Each grantmaker profile is updated at least once per year, so the information
is always relevant.
Members also have access to current federal
program announcements. Updated twice each week, this section
of the GrantStation website is word-searchable and
very easy to use. GrantStation also provides hyperlinks
to the state agency grant programs in all 50 states.
GrantStation's International Grants section provides
word-searchable profiles on grantmakers based outside
the U.S. (Many of these grantmakers give in the U.S.
as well as in other countries.) The top 500 Canadian
grantmakers are covered in the Canadian listings and
additional grantmakers based in Canada and other countries
are being added weekly. In addition, the new monthly International
GrantStation Insider, available in collaboration
with the USAID, is full of upcoming international conferences
and trainings, industry news, and grant deadlines.
Grants Mentor provides Members with step-by-step tutorials
on grantseeking, including how to build an aggressive
grantseeking program, how to write a winning grant
proposal, and an annual grantseeking calendar.
