West Virginia Development Office - Technical Assistance Project
In October 2004 the West Virginia Development Office (WV-DO) purchased a set of one-year GrantStation Memberships and distributed them to 38 nonprofit organizations in the region.
In September 2005 GrantStation conducted a survey of all participating organizations. Twenty-six participants (68%) of the organizations receiving a GrantStation Membership provided GrantStation with completed survey forms.
WV-DO spent $15,162.00 on the 38 GrantStation Memberships. The organizations participating in the final survey reported raising $4,983,400.00 (328 times the initial investment) during the 11-month period, with an additional $6,737,754.00 grant requests pending.
